Are outta of line.

They are being hosted like 2-3 times a day, and it really ruins the idea of an event.

Events are supposed to happen once in awhile... maybe, one every other day, or once a week.

It really "de-values" the items that are meant to be rewarded to the winners.

Now, I know some people may come in and say, it's cause you can't participate, or some shit like that. No, even if I could participate, and I've said this for quite some time, that they should be limited to like 2 per week(and CW Tourney counts as an event)

/agreed 100%. Events should only be held occasionally. If they're held all the time, event items basically become a shop item. Plus if we hold em all the time, then basically any random person can come and will have a chance at winning an event. If they're held occasionally, then you'd have to be on most of the time in order to see an event. Also, they should be held at different times for people in diff time zones.

yeah, paul's been tell decode to do events. And honestly, we should only be doing 1 event at a time. I know I myself as well have been doing multiple events in a row, but we should stop doing that now. Plus, when paul and gabe do events, paul usually has to go cuz he's a real busy man, and then the winners end up not getting their prize, and I end up having to give it to them. Well, I already decided that I'm not gonna be giving out anything, cuz I'm personally tired of doing it. So yeah, this is to paul and splash, please don't give the okay to do an event, unless you know you can stick around, or if another person can send the items.

well if we do that then we're competeting with servers who do them everyday so you get the idea although i do value ur idea
i believe daily event but only give out items that not many ppl take i.e = coloured name spray / rev / pistol etc etc
and items which are really common which lots of ppl want - shotgunz, rockets , sword should be given on weekly basis which will value events and also keep events.
i understand it may not be the best idea however i can only think of this solution to keep events and value events.

my sexy Girlfriend :P jus look below :P :P

I think we need an ACTIVE EVENT MANAGER too.

I know Paul has problems with Trust and stuff, but that may also solve the problems too.

I mean, with Matt, Paul, and Splashy the only ones capable, most of you aren't as active as our current GM's, and when the current GM's are given the okay to host, and then Matt, Paul, and Splash aren't around, they have to be given an "Event Winner" sign.

I've seen about 10+ people with that sign on there heads. I think the amount of events are absurd.

here's what I think we should do. If we're going to hold daily events (I think 1 should be max), then we should work by a point system. For those who aren't familiar with the point system, basically we host an event that lasts for lets say 10 rounds. You earn as many points as u can in those 10 rounds. Then at the end, you can exchange your points for certain items. Items will have diff point values, such as jjang is 1 pt, colored name is 2, etc. And after every event, all the points are reset (you can't earn points in one event and use them in another). This will keep the value of event items high, and still allow us to do events daily. But honestly, I just think that events should only be held twice or three times a week, and should only be held when me paul or splash do have time. Oh, and btw, whenever I do decide to let another Gm host an event, I always stick around to give the people their prizes.

That like happened 1 or 2 times in total for good reasons, I couldn't help it.

If that's the case, then why are there like 10 people (or were) taht didn't have prizes (I think). Gabe said you told him to do the events so yeah :o.

Well, I don't know if these people received there items yet. Some of them might have got them since. But I do remember seeing like 10 different names. They might be the same people on different accounts.

That would take forever honestly. We would have to have more GM's for something like LMS so that LMS would be faster, or HnS.

But, to stick to what you are saying.

How about, we run for 5(considerable amount), the winner is jjanged for winning. The GM's record the amount of points the players have won, and post them for every event held. Have like one thread in announcements, and just have GM's update, since they moderating status, you can keep the thread locked.

If you're looking for an active event manager, that's me.

I know you guys won't hire me cause I'm a prick but I refuse to change my personality to get a staff spot on a GunZ Private Server.

I'd love to be EM, Paul, Gurps and Johan all know that I can be great to get along with, and they've all seen my creativity when it comes to hosting events and inventing new ones.

1. I can do Event Manager. I seem to have a lack of trust from Paul.

2. Nothing personal, but If I don't get hired, and you do. I'll quit, won't even argue it. If you get hired before Dennis/Fox/Alex and an argument against hiring me(I wish they would tell me though), I'll argue to get you out of staff.

3. You're a deceiving individual. You'd only want staff for personal gain, and not to make the server better. I can see it in you. You had an argument in-game that I was complaining about too many events because I could not participate because of school. However, I noticed that you wanted more events because you could not win them.
