Erm well this is the very first thing I made in blender (well first was cookie to see what it would be like, so this is the second). Go ahead say how bad it is, I'm not really expecting it to be amazing. All you blender pros best critisize. That's the main reason I'm posting this. So er... yeah O_o....

I bet you are scared to hear my opinion but hell. It's a good start I am proud you made YOUR OWN item and it is good 8/10. Add some textures and I would use it in game. Good job.

All I can say is this.
I'm so fucking proud you didn't use tracing.
But some things, it could be more low-poly, I made one that was between 200-300 faces, and it had more detail.
If you ues cilinders, don't use 32 vertices, you should use 16/12/8.
Positioning could be better.

Just some random question : did you use Ryu's tutorial? Because I made the texturing part. XD

yeah it is master sword from zelda :P. I used Styx's tutorial, but I remember him linking to a texture tutorial somewhere you made. Though I just followed his texture guide.

I don't really know much about blender...in fact nothing really O.o
So my opinion is probaberly gona be useless, but still ima say it anyway wink

Good Points:
-Does not look like cardboard smile
-Works

Ways to improve:
-Different ideas and items
-More texture on the blade
-Idk keep trying smile

You said you wanted criticism so that's about all I can say tongue

of course it's not tracing, tracing would be way too much of a pain in the ass. I used his other tutorial, the one where he explained how to make this specific sword.
