Would it be a good idea to make a ban appeal section on forums ?

I know my heights, and I have yet to be pushed to my limits.
The little things mean most to me, so a simple comment could make my day.

As far as I'm concerned, No.

And I'll explain very briefly.

Usually the staff checks the proof before verifying a ban. Therefore, This is an "Innocent until proven guilty" type of an environment, and since this is a game, and with reliable proof like screenshots, and in-game clips known as "Replays" there is no need for a "Ban Appeal" forum.

I do like the thought however, but adding a forum like this, would provide a way for hackers to try and "convince" the people that they didn't hack or do whatever that was done.

Also, I remember someone pointing out about 2 people swapping, and if this was true, ProStyle wouldn't be at lvl 80 right now.

i think everyone has a right to an appeal because even with screens hots and video clips. mistakes can be made since we are all human to begin with... no matter the final decision of the ban comes from the administrators, but even a hacker has a right to appeal, it doesn't mean he won't get back in... it could just convict him further into obscurity and exclusion...

How many people do you see that get convicted of murder get an appeal and win?

Honestly, 1 out of 1 X 10^99th?

Lucien if that 1 person is still wrongly convicted he should have a right... if the people that had hacked really hacked they will only be wasting their time.... but suppose we ban someone whom was not hacking, then is that justice?

When a hacker is spotted by a GM, they are banned on site.
When a GM is not on and players are reporting a hacker with viable proof, and is then banned.

It's almost impossible for a wrong ban, unless this person has been corrupted.

what if they have? supposedly some accounts have been lost recently, could it not be the case at least once?

i am merely stating that the ban will be upheld until they are denied their appeal or if they can provide sufficient evidence or perhaps a logical and well thought out response... somehow, though i doubt the explanation will really mean anything... anyway then what does it matter?

the thread will only be a simple yes or no really.
