I need you, the people, to help me come up with an event, that everyone can do in the forums.

I have designed a system of rings to make you better in-game by winning these events. Also, these events need to be able to be held every week.

I have personally managed some time of system to help initial these items from being "overpowered"

First Ring - 10 ap, 10 hp
Second Rings - 12 ap, 12 hp
Third Ring - 14 ap, 14 hp
Fourth Ring - 17 ap, 17 hp
Fifth Ring - 20 ap, 20 hp
Sixth Ring - 24 ap, 24 hp
Seventh Ring - 29 ap, 29 Hp
Eighth Ring - 34 Ap, 34 Hp
Ninth Ring - 40 ap, 40 hp
Tenth Ring - 45 ap, 45 hp.

Despite what that looks, the tenth set of ring's give a nasty amount of 45 ap/hp each. However, to get that, is a rigorous amount of forum events.

They are more of a leveling type of system.

In order to get to that tenth ring, you will need 2 of the previous rings to get it. Likewise, you will need 2 previous rings to that to get that one, and so on, and so forth.

I started at a base of 10/10 for each, and multiplied them by 1.2 going upwards, towards the 10th ring.
Thus why they are increasing more and more as they go up.

I want to try and make the forums more active with adding forum events, but I can't make up on that seems to suit everyone so far.

Now, let's look at the facts here.

You need 2 1st Rings, to get a 2nd Ring.
You need 2 2nd Rings/4 1st rings to get a 3rd ring.
You need 2 3rd Rings/4 2nd rings/8 first rings for a 4th ring
You need 2 4th rings/4 3rds rings/8 2nd rings/ 16 first rings for the 5th ring.

With that said, it's safe to say it would take you about 30+ forum event wins to reach to that level 10 ring.
(16 wins just to get a level 5)

And considering the numbers of user we've been having(at least 20+), and if everyone can participate, I don't see how this can be overpowering.

NOTE: THIS IS JUST A BASE EXAMPLE OF WHAT IVE BEEN THINKING FOR THE PAST MONTH.

It's nice, but I think you should lower the HP/AP and add bonus exp instead.
But, I think this is more something of donor items .

yeah, I think donor rings would be less than that when we add them. Instead of multiplying each set of rings by 1.2 for the next set, why don't you just increase the hp/ap addition by a set amount. That way the intervals between the rings don't become too large.

Don't go pass 20 hp and ap because the sets are already overpowered.

As I said, it was a base idea, but if I increase by 2, they will eventually hit 20+ points anyway.

Why would you make donor rings? The reason I said event rings, because there would be alot less dev'ing(or so i think) involved for it.

No difference lol.

Also there like 999999 events per day so everyone will have OP stuff.

That sounds extremely complex. I say we should just have someone
Ask a sciencey question or so and whoever answers first wins.
Doesn't matter if they used the web or w/e, they were the swiftess and fastest.

You still didn't send me a pic of you.

And it's not that complex at all. Btw, I had a quiz idea in mind.

Forums events? :O
Nice plan but, wouldn't that be difficult to code for our current devs?

I know my heights, and I have yet to be pushed to my limits.
The little things mean most to me, so a simple comment could make my day.

Not if it's only rings. Rings do not show up in-game that well anyway(Your character wears 2 even with nothing equipped. So I believed that, all they have to new is create a new id of a ring, and add stats to it.

The forum events will always last because they do not have a timed function.
